Title: Transcript by Mr Percy Manning of parts of a rough pencil memorandum by Sir H. Dryden in the Dryden MSS, 1858, Northampton Free Library.
Content: Concerning a stone chest made of four stones with one projecting out of the ground in Rowstidge Copse and South Lawn, Wychwood. Description included. Found with the chest was a hone and a flint arrow-head. There is a note above the transcript which has been crossed out in blue pencil. Also mentions a barrow north west of South Lawn Lodge in Farringdon Copse and three skeletons on Whittey Hill near High Lodge.
