Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Hearne's Collections, Volume VIII, p.269.' Entry for September 19, 1724.
Content: Concerning the standing stone near Enstone on Wash-Pool Hill. From information given by Mr Eaton of St Gyles Parish, Hearne learnt that the stone had been dug up once and beneath it was found a large room and a pavement like that at Stunsfield as well as much money.
