Content: Page headed 'Pile Dwellings, Newbury, Neolithic'. Mentions a dug out canoe found in Bagnor Marsh, Newbury, along with a timber structure with a clay floor approached by causeways. At Fence Wood, Hermitage, Newbury, a timber platform supported on picks and numerous Neoliths, bones of horse, pig, goat, red deer, dog, wolf, marten, short-horn bear, boar and beaver were found.
