Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Hedge's History of Wallingford, Volume I, p.148'.
Content: Extract mentions a bronze double edged sword of the leaf shaped type that was dredged up from the river on the south side of the bridge (at Wallingford?) and brought to Mr Hedges. Gives a detailed description of the item, including dimensions. Below the extract is a note by Mr Percy Manning adding that the author thought the sword to be Roman, but it is actually Late Bronze Aged.
