Content: Page headed 'Letcombe Castle (Segsbury), Letcombe Basset'. Describes the castle and a grave excavated by Dr Phene in 1871, found in a cist in the vallum of the castle. In the grave were found: fragments of human bones, flint scrapers, remnants of what was possibly an umbo of a shield and a small fragment of an urn or a drinking cup.
