| Content: | Concerning the exhibition by Mr C. Faulkner of a Roman urn found in 1862 at Blacking Grove, near Deddington. Gives a description and explains that in it was found a tooth and near it a leaden plate. Also describes a find of Samian ware sherds close to the urn with potters marks: DONATVS.F. and VIRTVTIS. Mentions that these marks are found in Roach Smith's list of potters in Collectanea Antiqua, I, p.152. | ||||
