Content: Entitled: 'Ashmolean Natural History Society, Prehistoric Oxford'. Recounts a paper read by Mr A.M. Bell to the Ashmolean Natural History Society. He discusses Roman and pre-Roman habitation of Oxford, with reference to the archaeological finds in the City and at New Iffley. Discusses the use of arrow-heads and scrapers towards the end of the article. Concludes that the settlement of Oxford was quite sparse until the post-Roman period.
