Title: Transcript by Mr E.T. Leeds of a letter from Mr W.R. Thomas of The Beeches, Heyford
Content: Letter mentions a denarius of Valentinianus I, type Cohen (Ed.2), Volume VIII, p.89, No.18 (Lugdurum mint?) found in a meadow adjoining Lower Heyford. Gives exact find location. Leeds notes that the full letter offers the coin to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.
