| Title: | Letter from Mr Drewitt of Netherton Fyfield near Abingdon, possibly to Mr Percy Manning, although he is not named | ||||
| Content: | Letter in response to a query by Mr Percy Manning concerning a skeleton found at Kingston Bagpuize. Drewitt is the son of the man who once inhabited Kingston Hill farm. His father found the skeleton while digging for stone in a pit. In the letter he writes that his family have moved from the farm and that a gentleman called Mr Burrows, who was present at the discovery of the skeleton, arrived from Oxford to claim it. They have no address for Burrows, but think that he may have worked in the printing offices in Oxford. | ||||
