Title: Transcript from the Ashmolean Museum Department of Antiquities Accession Register, number 1888.509
Content: Entry for a bronze spear-head, leaf shaped, found with two rapier blades (1885.508) in Sandford Lock. Formerly in the possession of Dr Giles and General Major Rigand. Presented to the museum by Reverend J. Rigand. The entry is written on a seperate strip of paper which has been adhered to the lined backing paper. Below this is adhered a photograph of the object.
