| Title: | Note by Mr Percy Manning and a manuscript extract to a publication: 'Ancient Stone Implements by John Evans, 1897, p.594' | ||||
| Content: | Concerning Manning's discovery of a flint implement on a foot path in the village of Broadwell. There was a gravel pit close to the findspot and the workmen claimed to have found others, though Mr Percy Manning did not see them. The transcript from Evans' book describes the implement in Manning's collection. A further note explains the exact geographical location of the gravel pit at Broadwell. | ||||
