| Content: | Concerning the communications of the Society, through Mr Lockwood and Mr Telmage, with Lord Churchill, over the matter of the tumuli in Wychwood. The tumuli were due to be opened in the spring to be excavated by Sir Henry Dryden and others, including Mr Akerman. Lord Churchill was keen that their contents should be deposited in the new museum at Oxford (the University Natural History Museum?). Note crossed out below the transcript. | ||||
