| Content: | The extract is headed: '1714, May 7'. The extract describes an attempt to find a camp at Sunningwell a week before the extract was written. Though the first attempt failed, a second attempt to find it succeeded. The author describes it as being a little out of Abingdon Road, just opposite Sunningwell. He adds that there are the remains of some trenches. | ||||
