Content: Page entitled 'Wytham, Two Circular Pits, pp.941 - 942'. Notes concerning a note by Sir Henry Dryden made on two circular pits discovered on 26 Janurary 1870. Dryden noted that the pits were probably covered in and used as a habitation. They contained the bones of ox, deer, pottery and a portion of a bivalve shell.
