Title: Newspaper extract from Oxford times, October 14, 1911.
Content: Short article entitled: 'Prehistoric British Ring-Money'. Records the discovery by Mr John Joslin of an almost complete gold circle at Combe and quotes the Reverend. Spencer Pearce writing in the 'Long Combe Parish Magazine' for October 1911. Reverend Pearce explains the discovery and the function of the little gold ring as prehistoric currency. Beneath the article on the obverse side of the paper, 'O.T. Oct 14.1911' is handwritten.
