Foxcombe Hill (Sunningwell) | Item No.: | 3 | No. of Sheets: | 1 |
| Title: | Drawing of a pottery vessel with notes. | ||||
| Content: | The sheet is entitled: 'Foxcombe Hill'. Drawing shows how a potsherd would have fitted into the rest of the vessel. The notes below iindicate that the vessel was found on Foxcombe Hill in 1902 and given to the Ashmolean Museum (Department of Antiquties) by Mr W.G. Roger Smith. It came from the site of a new house on the summit of Foxcombe Hill, close to and on the Oxford side of the Hydropathic establishment. | ||||
