Title: Transcript by Mr Percy Manning of extract from Rolleston MS, University Museum Department of Comparative Anatomy.
Content: Account of the excavation by Professor Rolleston, Mr J.W. Flower and Mr H.R. Moseley of the smaller of two barrows on Mr Phipp's land at South Lawn, Wychwood. Includes detailed description of the site and finds, such as burnt human bones, animal bones, pottery and coins. Also a list of what remains to be excavated near South Lawn, including the other barrow on Mr Phipp's land and four other barrows in the vicinity.
