| Title: | Note by Mr Percy Manning based on information from Mr J.Carter, June 1894 | ||||
| Content: | Concerning a neolithic flint axe-head found with its original haft of wood split and tied around the centre of the axe found when cutting a new channel for the Thames at Radcot Bridge. Carter claimed that it was in the Reading Museum. A note below by Mr Percy Manning confirms that it was not in the Reading Museum. Manning has also duplicated a rough sketch of the object drawn by Carter. | ||||
