Title: Two black and white photographs and a drawing on tracing paper adhered to lined note paper. A note by Mr Percy Manning
Content: Two black and white photographs of a bronze spindle whorl from Middle Hill, Wood Eaton, in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. Also a small drawing of the object in section. Below these are two drawings (top and side views) of a similar object on tracing paper, traced from publication: 'Undset: Erste Auftreten des Eisens, Pl. XXIII. 5'. Notes by Mr Percy Manning on provenance and description. There is a similar object from Hod Hill in the British Museum.
