Title: Pencil drawings and a note by Mr E.T. Leeds.
Content: Pencil drawings (top and side views) of an axe-hammer in the Ashmolean Museum. Notes in ink below the diagram by Mr E.T. Leeds include a description of the item and its find location at the back of two new cottages on the right side of the road from Dorchester to Oxford. Also mentions human remains found near the axe, which may or may not have been found with a key in its hand. The notes are based on information from Mr S. Gibson of the Bodleian Library, who gave the hammer to the museum.
