| Title: | Note by Mr Percy Manning | ||||
| Content: | Concerning a flint factory between Wootton and North Hinksey in a field north east of Pickett's Heath Farm, between Powder Hill Copse and Birch's Copse. Many flint flakes, chips and cores discovered as well as some scrapers. Possibly Neolithic, but Manning speculates that they may be late in the date. A note in pencil below mentions that this is 'Not in B.V.H.' (Berkshire Victoria History) | ||||
