Title: Notes by Mr Percy Manning
Content: Two pages of notes listing the objects given to the Ashmolean Museum Department of Antiquities by Admiral W.R. Clutterbuck of Long Wittenham, from the collections of his father, the Reverend J.C. Clutterbuck. Most of the objects are from the Anglo-Saxon cemetery in Long Wittenham, some are from Moulders Farm in Long Wittenham, near the cemetery. Publication references are given to four of the items (Archaeologia XXXVIII and the Archaeological Journal, Volume V, p.293). The objects listed are: an iron spear head; two disc brooches; one green bead; one perforated pin; two small square headed brooches; a mouth of a dagger sheath of tinned bronze; two disc brooches; one perforated pin; one rivet burr; seven beads; one disc brooch; one sandstone bead or whorl; one pair of tweezers; one perforated pin; one iron buckle; one knife; one spear head; one iron knife; one long iron spear head; one iron shield boss.
