Title: Transcript by Mr Percy Manning of extract from Rolleston MS, University Museum Department of Comparative Anatomy and a note by Mr E.T. Leeds
Content: Concerning the excavation of a South Lawn barrow at Wychwood by Professor Rolleston, General Pitt Rivers and Mr J.W. Flower in 1872. Mentions that only burnt human bone fragments, a deer premolar and some charcoal were found. Note by Mr E.T. Leeds observes that the barrow could not be detected by Lord Redesdale or Mr G.S. Bowles when they visited.
