Title: Note by Mr Percy Manning and manuscript extract from publication: 'Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Journal, Vol. IV, p.11'
Content: Note mentions a small bronze ring in the possession of Mr Percy Manning, which he thinks may be a spindle whorl inlaid with four circles of red enamel. La Tene, found in 1895 at Beckley in the allotments close to the Roman road from Alchester. Also mentions that there is a La Tene fibula from the same place in the Ashmolean Museum. A further note below mentions a gold coin of Cunobeline in the collection of Prof. C.W.C Oman found in the same place. Publication reference below.
