Content: Note mentions a British gold coin found in 1837 near the Whirtman Hills (sic. - Wittenham Hills), Dorchester. Describes the coin and refers to other similar items found in Middlesex and Kent. Also mentions that the coin is like types shown in Evans' book (like those shown in plates D3, D4 and K2). A further note mentions similar Gaulish and Belgic coins found, also referring to Evans book.
