Title: Notes based on information in publications.
Content: Publications 'Gough's Camden, p.225', 'Whittaker's Itinerarium Britanniarum, edited by J. Reynolds, p. 468' and 'Hedge's Wallingford, Volume I, pp. 150 - 152'. All mention Roman masonry found in the Castle at Wallingford. A note by Mr Percy Manning at the foot of the page adds that Mr Hedge was sceptical as the the supposed Roman masonry, siting the only evidence as being the obiter dictum of the other two authors.
