| Title: | Transcript by Mr Percy Manning of the letter sent to him by Mr H. Stevens | ||||
| Content: | Concerning two spear-heads and an arrow-head found in two mounds on the top of the Chiltern Hills by a man looking for stones. There is a note beneath based on information extracted from 'Ordnance Survey, 42, S.W.' proclaiming the two mounds as a twin barrow. There is a very stylised and faint line diagram of a spear-head showing measurements running from the top to the bottom of the right side of the page, beneath the handwriting. | ||||
