Dorchester Item No.: 75 No. of Sheets: 1
Title: Postcard addressed to Mr E.T. Leeds at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford from Mr Thomas William Colzer of the Museum and Art Gallery, Reading.
Content: A note in the corner by Leeds mentions that this is in answer to a query whether or not Dorchester Anglo-Saxon finds at Reading are the Anglo Saxon finds at Bishop's Close on the Six inch Ordnance Survey Map. Mr Colzer's note replies that the only information they have on Dorchester Anglo-Saxon relics is that they were found near Dorchester. He mentions a bronze fibulae that Leeds has sketched.
