Title: Extract from 'MSS. minutes of the Society of Antiquaries, Volume XV, p.40-41, 28 November, 1776.'
Content: Concerning the exhibition by Mr Barrington of a gold jewel, inlaid with garnets, found under a hedge at Dorchester. Detailed description. Below the notes is a rough sketch on tracing paper, which has been adhered to the lined paper. The notes below the diagram point out that the object has cloisonnee work decorations on one side and is Anglo Saxon.
