Content: Letter from Mr J.R. Earwaker to the Oxford Journal, describing the site of the Roman villa at North Leigh and drawing public attention to its state of neglect. Points out that the Duke of Marlborough, while having been petitioned to start caring for the site, had still to that date done nothing. Mentions that another villa at Stonesfield had already been destroyed by the elements.
