Title: Two photographs attached to lined note paper their corners slotted into four diagonal slits in the mounting paper, and two drawings on tracing paper adhered to the lined note paper. Notes by Mr Percy Manning on the note paper.
Content: Two photographs of a Roman bronze pin found near the Roman road at Beckley. Notes by Mr Percy Manning above the photographs explain that the pin is in the Ashmolean Museum Department of Antiquities (1886.1140) and mention where it was found. The traced drawings below the photographs are of two other pins found at Danes Graves, Driffield, Yorkshire. Notes below the drawings suggest dates for the graves in which the pins were found (according to Mr R. Smith), mention the materials used to make them and give relevent journal references: 'Archaeology, Vol. IX, pp.251-324' (the publication from which the drawings were traced) and 'Proceedings of the Society of Antiquities, Series 2, Vol. XX, p.257'.
