Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Oxford Architectural and Historical Society, Vol I, p.116, March 18 1862.'
Content: Concerning various bones and some pottery fragments found by the society librarian, Mr James Parker, at a site near Culham not far from the base of the Wittenham Hills. Some of the bones were thought to be those of an extinct ox 'bos longifons' and probably pre-Roman.
