Title: Letter sent to Manning by F. Haverfield containing the transcript of the part of Haverfield's paper on Northfield Farm
Content: Mentions various crop marks noticed by Haverfield, Reverend J.E. Field and Mr Hewitt around Oxfordshire, including some at Benson (Gould's Grove, Benson; Two circles enclosing a third smaller circle, also a rectangle and some lines at Warborough; Rectangles and lines at Dorchester; Thames circles and straight lines and rectangles to the South of Dorchester; Rectangles, circles and lines at Culham; Lines and rectangles at Radley; Circles fifty nine miles outside Paddington). Haverfield writes a brief note to Manning on the reverse of the last page of transcript thanking him for his letter and explaining the origin of the transcript.
