| Content: | The page is entitled 'Wytham'. Photograph of three pieces of pottery. Below the photograph is a note explaining that the items were found in 1894 in a shallow rubbish hole in gravel, full of black earth, flint chips and bones. They are mentioned in the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Archaeological Journal, Volume IV, p.46. They were once in the Pitt Rivers collection and are now in the Ashmolean Museum Department of Antiquities. Above the photograph a note in pencil indicates that the sherds are 'Type II, Group III, Abercromby'. | ||||
