Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Archaeological Journal, Volume IV, p.74, March 1847' and a drawing on tracing paper by Mr Percy Manning
Content: Concerning a late Roman pottery vessel discovered in digging the foundations of cottage at Holton on the property of Mrs Biscoe. A note by Mr Percy Manning below the transcript describes the vessel and mentions that it was shown to him by Mr W.S. Biscoe in April 1895. At the bottom left of the page is a sketch of the vessel on a piece of tracing paper adhered to the page.
