Title: Transcript by Mr E.T. Leeds of the Ashmolean Museum Department of Antiquities Accession Register, 1915.109 and a pencil drawing beneath it.
Content: Entry for an iron shield-boss found in a box containing various iron objects, 17th century wine bottles and medieval pottery given to the museum by the executors of the will of Mr J.W. Jackson or Worcester College. Jackson obtained the objects from excavations for underground book stores on the north side of the Radcliffe Camera in 1910. There is a drawing of the shield-boss below the text along with a brief note that implies that it might be Medieval.
