| Content: | A communication from Stephen Stone Esq, F.S.A., to the secretary of the society. Concerning the discovery of Anglo-Saxon remains at Ducklington, near Witney. Two graves, the first of an adult, the second of a child. The child had with it: a gold bullae around the neck, a bone comb at the head (similar to the one obtained by the Reverend Bryan Fausset from Kingston Down, Kent, published in 'Remains of Pagan Saxondom, pl.31, fig.1' and 'Invertorium Sepulchiale, Pl.IV''), two glass beads, a silver ring and a polished garnet or ruby. Also found were fragments of silver and bronze, sherds and flints by Mr Edward Jones of Ducklington. | ||||
