Content: Concerning the location of the castle in Benson (Hearne concludes that it must have stoof to the west of the present church) and the objects found in its vicinity (Human bones; Ox bones; Sheep bones; Horse bones; Spears; Bridles). Written after Hearne had made a visit to Benson. He also noticed traces of the Ditch that had surrounded the walls of the castle.
