Title: Drawing on tracing paper copied from a water colour. Note below the drawing.
Content: The drawing on the tracing paper is of a pottery food vessel with notch-like decoration around its base, middle and rim. The note explains that the item is from Drayton and that the drawing has been taken from a water colour drawing by Sir H. Dryden, the original of which was in the possession of Mr Jesse King of Appleford in 1844. The information in the note is referenced as having been found in the 'Dryden Manuscripts, Northampton Public Library'. A further publication reference is written below the note: 'Berkshire Victoria History, Volume I, pl. opp, p.186 + p. 194.'
