Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Akerman's Forest of Wychwood in Archaeology, Volume XXXVII, p.430'. Also a note by Mr Percy Manning
Content: Concerning the Frethelstone, an ancient boundary stone at Wychwood Forest. The stone had been broken up to make the new roads in the district. Manning's note mentions that the stone appears from Akerman's map to have stood on the edge of the forest between Forest Farm and the barrow north of South Lawn lodge.
