| Title: | Cutting from a journal: 'Antiquary, Volume XLVI, p.324, September 1910' adhered to the page. | ||||
| Content: | The cutting refers to a report made by Mr John Acutt of Manor Road, New Milton, of fragments of a pottery urn discovered by labourers digging for gravel on Barton Common. Acutt was able to reconstruct half of the urn and there is a description of it in the cutting. Also found in with the sherds were charcoal, calcined bone, flint and oxidized metal. The publication reference is written next to the cutting on the page. | ||||
