Wallingford Item No.: 12 No. of Sheets: 1
Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries, First Series, Volume IV, p.303' and a drawing on tracing paper adhered to the sheet.
Content: The extract mentions two small knife blades exhibited by Reverend J.C. Clutterbuck. The note mentions that they are similar to one shown in 'Archaeologia, Volume XXXVI, p.330', from the Museum of Royal Irish Academy, and a socketed celt found in the Thames near Wallingford. The drawing on tracing paper is traced from the engraving of the knife blade in Archaeologia.
