Title: Note by Mr Percy Manning based on information from Mr Dewe of Lower Heyford, 1895.
Content: Concerning the discovery of several human skeletons with a quantity of pottery and the bones of animals in a field north of the road from Hopcroft Holt Inn to Lower Heyford. Also a reference to a letter from Mr J. Smith of Steeple Aston to the Times Newspaper, 7 March 1866 giving the measurments of pits in which were found inhumations.
