| Content: | Concerning a hoard of coins found in an urn a mile out of Ewelme in a field near the Iknield Way. These were Roman copper coins, some of which were rare. Most were in the possession of Mr William Tipping of West Court, Ewelme. The author of this text was handed 337 of them to describe and listed below the manuscript extract are the different types of coins he encountered, and the quantity of them. Next to some are what look like page numbers. | ||||
