Title: Manuscript extract from publication: 'Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries, Second Series, Volume II, p.25, 20 March 1862.'
Content: Concerning the exhibition by Sir H. Dashwood of an upright slab with a rounded top on which was carved a figure in low relief. Roman representation of Vulcan? Found below Ilbury Camp in the parish of Duns Tew. Stones and pottery have also been found on the spot. It is possible that an engraving of it may be published in 'The Gentleman's Magazine, June 1862, p.709.'
