| Content: | Entries for: three stirrup irons, one iron horse shoe and a pair of small iron shears. All found in the River Cherwell just below Magdalen Bridge in 1884. Also mentions that horse's skulls and bones were found in the same spot and also men's thigh bones, although all this had been sold on. Manning notes that the objects may be Danish or Anglo-Saxon. | ||||
