Tubney | Item No.: | 4 | No. of Sheets: | 1 |
| Title: | Sheet of three drawings, one possibly drawn in charcoal or smudged ink, one in pencil and one in ink. With pencil notes. | ||||
| Content: | The drawings are of a potsherd, from three angles. The drawing which looks as if it may have been executed in charcoal is of the decorated side of the sherd. The other two drawings show the sherd from the top showing its curvature and the side showing its thickness. The notes mention that the item is labeled: 'Tubney - from remains of Tubney Tump, J.P., June 71'. 'J.P.' probably stands for James Parker. The notes go on to mention that the sherd is fine hard buff ware with small holes and pounded shell. | ||||
