| Content: | Concerning the discovery in 1840 of an ancient well east of the church in Kiddington. At the bottom of the well under a leaning stone was found an urn filled with bones and around it broken red and white crockery and coins. Also in the vicinity were tracings of dwellings, flues and cells and earthen ramparts were still visible. These were possibly Civil War. | ||||
