Title: Transcript from the Ashmolean Museum Antiquities Department Accessions Register 1886.1453. Black and white photograph adhered to the lined note paper below it.
Content: Entry for a drinking cup from Yarnton, donated to the museum by the University Museum of Natural History, where it was once part of the Rolleston Collection. Photograph of the object below the extract. Also a publication reference in pencil: 'Proceedings of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, XXXVIII, p.384, number 65.' A note by Mr Percy Manning beneath the photograph mentions that the object was probably alluded to in Rolleston's Scientific Papers, Volume II, p.943 as being found with a skeleton, close to its skull.
