Middleton Stoney | Item No.: | 1 | No. of Sheets: | 1 |
| Title: | Manuscript extract from publication: 'Blomfield's History of the present deanery of Bicester, Plate I, p.18.' and a note by Mr Percy Manning. | ||||
| Content: | The extract mentions remains of Roman brickwork, which seemed to be parts of a bath, found at Middleton Stoney on a spot of ground opposite the village inn. Manning's note adds that there is no such reference in the 'Hundreds of Bullingdon and Ploughley' and that subsequently Mr Blomfield acknowledged that his reference was incorrect. | ||||
